Woah. It's really been a hot minute since an update was made for our film.
Exciting plot twist: We finished.
So quick recap, week 05- 10 was just non-stop crunchtime to finish the film. Our crew worked incredibly hard to finish shadows, finish layouts, create the credits, publish the art of book, create our trailer, make the presskit, comp the film together, render shots, then recomp and render any errors or updates(and boy- there was a lot of trial and error). It was a lot of back and forth between myself (Kate the producer) and the crew trying to make sure all the shots were being completed and the files were constantly being updated and named correctly. It was organized chaos, but it worked. Somehow. Our crew showed an incredible amount of resolve and determination to finish. I'm sure they hated the tough deadlines I was dishing out, but they all pushed through to the finish. Now our film is finished--- and on to the way to be submitted to festivals.

It's hard to believe that in August of 2019 we were all strangers and a list of names on a class roster. Not knowing if we would get along and be able to create a film together. Fast forward through our senior year and here we are: a cute film making family. We really have been through it all during this production and met every challenge in the best way we could. Sure we weren't perfect but there was never a moment where I doubted our ability to succeed.
