Week 04 and the Continuation of Animation

Horray for week 04! 

Week 04 has been sailing by, and it's hard to believe that we are now starting midterms and are half way through production. This week was just another continuation of last so all we are doing is animating. All day. Everyday. Fun right?

Monday we did an in-class critique of the entire animatic but this time Prof. Webber joined in to give us his expert opinion. Ultimately, he said we were on the right track and gave us valuable advice moving forward. By the end of the class, we decided to cut a few scenes too! Our super-long film just got like 2 seconds less long. Woop!

Wednesday's class we got visited by SCAD 2017 Alumna Mikaela Pfeifer, who is currently working at Sony. She spoke to us, Half Full, and the crew of King and Pawn about her post-graduate life and how to break into the industry. Literally the nicest human ever.

Our Sunday meeting also went super well, we officially have every shot roughed!!! Not all are complete and approved for tie-down, but we are SO CLOSE. The film is coming together so nicely!
